Island fortress Suomenlinna is a UNESCO World Heritage site. It is located just outside of Helsinki and ferry from kauppatori takes 20 minutes. Majority of it was build late 18th century on Swedish era.
Today it is home for some 800 citizens and a perfect place to have a picnic and a dip in sea. There is a maritime museo, cafe`s and restaurants.
