Central park – keskuspuisto

Helsinki´s central park may not challenge New York´s one in size, but sure on wild nature experience. It is 1 000 hectare nature park, a narrow 10 kilometer strip from north of the city center – all the way to Haltiala and Pitkäkoski at border of Vantaa (city next to Helsinki).

Tourist love the park as they can see how Finland`s nature looks like, without ever leaving the city! This is good sightseeing, rent a bike or go for jogging. Trails are very well signposted so you don’t get lost. And don’t worry, there is no ice bears here.
